University of Essex Delegation Visit

University of Waterloo President Feridun Hamdullahpur, recently met with a delegation from the University of Essex, led by Vice-Chancellor and President Anthony Forster. Discussions focused on addressing global challenges for the benefit of individuals and communities, by bringing the brightest minds together to create viable solutions for the future. Advancing research projects and expanding on joint programming related to graduate studies were top of mind, as both presidents discussed the use of theme-based partnerships, as an ideal vehicle for potential collaborations. Talks also touched upon the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship, which are shared values for both institutions.
