Annual Dinner & Talk featuring the Honourable Bardish Chagger

A special night for current students - This invitation-only event brings together community supporters of the Master of Public Service program, special guests, faculty, and students. The event includes a mix and mingle, a special talk by the Honourable Bardish Chagger, and a lovely three-course dinner.

The Honourable Bardish Chagger

Bardish Chagger was elected as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Waterloo on October 19th, 2015. In addition, she was named as Minister of Small Business and Tourism by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 4th, 2015.

Waterloo Region is where Bardish was born, raised, and educated. Bardish obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo (UW), where she was also President of the UW Young Liberals.

After graduation, Bardish was executive assistant to former Kitchener-Waterloo MP Andrew Telegdi from 2004 to 2008. This experience provided her with front-line exposure to the work of an MP, giving her significant insight into the daily challenges of constituents in the riding of Waterloo.
