Dr. Alexander Lanoszka's research centres on international security. In his work on foreign and defence policy issues, he has studied how military alliances operate, whether to reassure its own members of continued support or to prevent adversaries from going about different types of aggression. He has made media appearances in CBC radio and television programming, The Economist, and many other outlets around the world.
The go-to-person for the program, Sheila spends her days building a community at the MPS program space and her nights with her golden retriever Lucy. She is an alumnus of Waterloo’s Honours B.A. program in Rhetoric and Professional Writing with an option in Speech Communications, Western’s M.A.
