Voting together in the 2015 Federal Election

A lecture for the MPS Class of 2017 - Organized by the Political Science department, this talk involves representatives of the Vote Together campaign, a major pan-Canadian grassroots mobilization to encourage citizens to vote strategically to unseat Conservative MPs in swing ridings. The talk conveys many of the themes explored in Prof. Carter's course and it provides lots of evidence on the types of resources and strategies used by civil society organizations that are discussed in "Government, Business, and Civil Society".

She will discuss building a career in the municipal sector, and introduce a new outreach activity that the City of Guelph is developing. The presentation will be followed by a catered lunch.
