Workshop for MPS Class of 2016 - As part of your preparation for co-op interviews, we have engaged a professional communications consultant and coach, Elissa Lansdell, who will speak with you about effective techniques for voice projection, tone and delivery. 

Sessions for MPS Class of 2016 - To further strengthen your interview skills, we have engaged professional communications consultant and coach, Elissa Lansdell, to personally coach you on your voice techniques. All details will be sent to your uWaterloo email. 

MPSA event for current students - A professional development workshop for the purpose of helping current MPS students improve their communication, public speaking and professional networking skills. Through a series of “trial and error” type activities, students will learn how to directly speak to a live audience as well as how to network for their career. 

Talk for MPS Class of 2016 - Learn all about life in local government with MPS Alumnus Jeff Bunn.  From his first co-op position at Bradford West Gwillimbury to his exciting current role as Deputy Clerk of the Town of Tillsonburg, Jeff will take you on an insightful adventure of life after MPS.

A special event for senior students - It is time to celebrate completing the MPS program! After all the Major Team Projects are presented and you have your grad photo taken, join us in celebrating this major milestone with some hors d'oeuvres and drinks.    

MPS Multi-Year Celebration Event - We invite all MPS alumni, students and faculty to a mix and mingle with friends over some drinks and delicious food. At this event, we will be thanking MPS Program Director, Daniel Henstra, for his dedication, hard work, and leadership over the past five years, and wishing him the very best on his new journey. MPS Multi-Year Celebration Event - We invite all MPS alumni and students in Ottawa to an evening of food, friends and festivities. Come join Prof. Henstra for some delicious food and a refreshing virgin daiquiri, but more importantly, for the good company. Please RSVP to Sheila by Friday, May 22.  

A special event for the MPS Class of 2015 - We welcome family and friends of the graduating students to join us as we celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2015 on their special day! At this drop-in reception, we will have lots of delicious food and some gifts for our MPS graduands. We will also present the 2015 MPS Excellence Award to the Waterloo MPS alumnus with the highest overall average in their graduating class. We look forward to celebrating with you!
