Leah Myers is the former Assistant Deputy Minster responsible for income security and pension policy at the Ontario Ministry of Finance. 

With over 25 years of experience in a variety of different ministries, Leah has gained a wide-range of expertise as an Ontario Public Service policy leader.  Leah has served as an Assistant Deputy Minister for over ten years with over four of those years as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Health, Social, and Education Policy at the Ontario Cabinet Office.  She was also the executive lead for several high-profile policy development projects such as, post-secondary education reform and the review and modification of Ontario's social assistance system. 

From 2006-2008, Leah was the president of Durham College in Oshawa where she initiated the development of a new strategic plan for the college. 

Leah holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and is also a graduate of the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors.
