Tianqi Li

President

The President is the chief executive officer of the executive committee. She is responsible for oversight of MNS Society operations and is a voting member of Board of Directors in Science Society. As an international student, she also strengthens the connection between students from different cultures.

Doreen Cheng

Vice President

The Vice President oversees the coordination and planning of events and activities involving the Faculty of Science, the Materials and Nanoscience Program, and the Society. He oversees student outreach to MNS Students and is responsible for managing all events and public outreach of the MNS Society. He also works to assess and provide opportunities for research and professional career development, peer mentorship, and support through the MNS society.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Treasurer) is responsible for the financial matters of the MNS Society. He manages our sustainable closed-form budget, oversees outside funding through the MNS Program, Department of Chemistry, and Department of Physics. He approves the use of funds for promoting Society activities. He is a voting member on the Board of Directors of Science Society and communicates with other organizations on behalf of the Society of financial matters (eg. VP Finance of SciSoc).

Xingwu "Bob" Zhou

International Partnership Program Representative

Xingwu Zhou, also known as Bob, majored in Nanotechnology in Soochow University before joining the 2+2 partnership program with University of Waterloo. The program aims to give students' various study experiences and combine the strength in different cultures. Xingwu joins the MNS society as International Partnership Program Representative to connect 2+2 students with University of Waterloo and MNS society more tightly, in the meantime, let the voice of 2+2 students to be heard.
