Pelin completed her undergraduate studies in Biology & Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University and her Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience at Queen’s University. She joined the lab as a PhD student in 2019. Pelin is interested in intentional forgetting: the forgetting of irrelevant (e.g., old high school locker combination) or unwanted (e.g., memories of breaking up with a partner) information on purpose to declutter memory.

Xinyi completed her undergraduate and masters degrees at the National University of Singapore. She conducts research on the broad topics of memory and learning. She is particularly interested in metacognition, specifically, how we know that we know things.
