Bohdan Khromets is a PhD candidate in quantum physics at the University of Waterloo, beginning his doctoral studies in 2023. He earned his BSc with Honours in Applied Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine, and completed his MSc in Physics (Quantum Information) under Dr. Zbig Wasilewski in December 2021.
He joined the QNC-MBE group in 2019, where he worked on a joint project with Professor Jonathan Baugh focused on low-temperature deposition of aluminum on InAs-based heterostructures for topological Majorana qubits. He also contributed to developing a simulator for a scalable spin-based quantum computer in silicon. Bohdan continued as a research assistant in Professor Baugh’s Coherent Spintronics Group until August 2023.
