Ida Sadeghi is now a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ida earned her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (Nanotechnology) under Professor Zbig Wasilewski's supervision in 2021. She joined the QNC-MBE research team in September, 2016. Ida acquired her undergraduate degree from the Materials Science and Engineering department at Sharif University of Technology in Iran and her master’s from the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Waterloo. While doing her master’s studies, she took the Molecular Beam Epitaxy course with Professor Zbigniew Wasilewski, which fuelled her deep passion and formidable dedication to continuing her studies as a PhD student in the MBE field—a new branch of the state-of-the-art nanotechnology field.
