Marc
Jaikissoon
worked
in
the
QNC-MBE
Group
as
a
Co-op
Student
from
September
to
December
in
2015
and
then
as
a
Research
Assistant/
Facility
Technician
from
January
to
July
in
2018.
While
in
the
group,
he
focused
on
molecular
beam
epitaxial
(MBE)
deposition
and
characterization
of
aluminum
layers
for
superconducting
resonators
and
qubits.
He
also
developed
a
technique
for
cleaning
MBE
III-V
deposits
off
molybdenum
holders
without
attacking
Mo
itself.
Marc
graduated
as
a
top
student
from
the
BSc
program
in
Nanotechnology
at
the
University
of
Waterloo
in
2017
and
is
now
continuing
his
PhD
studies
at
Stanford
University.
