Alumni, Former MASc Student
Jacky Wang

Jacky Wang currently works in the electronics industry in China. He graduated in 2015 with an MASc in Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Professor Zbig Wasilewski. Jacky joined the QNC-MBE team in 2013 as an exchange student from Soochow University.

During his undergraduate studies, he led a national-level project at STITP focused on the preparation and characterization of highly ordered nanoarray p–n junction materials with visible-light response. As an exchange student at the University of Waterloo, he worked in both Professor Wasilewski’s and Professor Dayan Ban’s labs, gaining experience with terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (TDS) and scanning voltage microscopy (SVM) applied to the characterization of quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) and interband cascade lasers (ICLs).
