The University of Waterloo Optometry Student Society (UWOSS) passed an official set of bylaws (2011) and a constitution in October 2011 for the first time since 1992! The 2011 Constitution was passed in the October 2011 referendum, with 36% member voting turnout, and 100% voting in favour.
The constitution and bylaws were revised in 2014. The 2014 Constitution and 2014 Bylaws were passed in March 2014, with voting members exceeding quorum and 96% voting in favour. Thank you to Sean Reimer (Class of 2015) for running the referendum.
Bylaw III-4 and III-5, regarding the election timetable and procedures, were revised in Oct 2016 to reflect the change in the Orientation Week Schedule. UWOSS Council voting members exceeded quorum and 100% voted in favour of the 2016 Bylaws.
