What we’re hearing

As we continue hearing from diverse voices during our Waterloo at 100 consultations, we are humbled by, and grateful for, the passion and insights coming from this community. As the University prepares for its long-term future, we are hearing imaginative solutions to challenges that will enable Waterloo to lead in inclusive and sustainable ways.

December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. This year will mark the 28^th anniversary of the tragic events that took place in 1989 at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal.

This month has been a busy and exciting one for both the University and for me. There has been so much to celebrate and there is much more to come.

Our country’s most important day, its birthday, is just around the corner, and I am delighted to invite you to the 31^st — and biggest ever — University of Waterloo – Federation of Students Canada Day Celebration on Wednesday, July 1 at 4:00 p.m. at Columbia Lake Field.
