President Hamdullahpur on Wednesday served as host of the "Towards Sustainable Partnerships: Canada's Aboriginal Communities and the Resources Sector" summit with the University of Waterloo School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) in Toronto.

The goal of the event was to identify initiatives to build a more mutually beneficial relationship between Canada's aboriginal communities and primary industries.

Every year, the Waterloo and Kitchener area comes together under the leadership of The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation (KWCF) to make our community a kinder, happier place. Random Act of Kindness Day, now in its sixth year, is an opportunity to connect with others and bring a smile to friends and strangers alike.
