English for Success (EFS) is a fun and exciting short-term summer immersion program designed to help you improve your English while building lifelong friendships and developing valuable transferable skills. During EFS, you will participate in English courses, such as presentation skills and listening and speaking, and take part in enrichment activities that connect you directly with the University of Waterloo – one of Canada’s top universities.
You will also benefit from living on campus in residence and participating in a vibrant social calendar of daily activities and weekend trips to some of Canada's most iconic destinations, including the world-famous Niagara Falls and Toronto’s CN Tower. The EFS experience offers you the chance to improve your English while experiencing Canada and forging lasting memories.

My favourite part of EFS was the kindness. The people are very kind, and they make you feel welcome here. Academically, I had a lot of opportunities to practice my English with native speakers. Personally, I learned how to be a more empathetic person. Canadian culture is a very kind and polite culture. Everyone here made me feel so welcome.
