The Future Ready program is an exciting two-week summer experience for students aged 15 to 17. Designed to inspire the next generation of changemakers, the program brings together high school students from around the world to explore some of the most significant global challenges.
Future Ready builds your 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and communication, as you experience interdisciplinary lectures and gain unique insight into Waterloo’s world-renowned academic and innovative ecosystem. Beyond the classroom, you will benefit from living in residence on the university campus, participating in a variety of activities and excursions, and building friendships in a welcoming, inclusive environment. By engaging with the diverse areas of study at the University of Waterloo, the Future Ready program empowers you—as a future global problem solver—to embrace a world of possibilities.

At the end of the program, students will receive a personalized evaluation and a certificate of program completion from Renison University College at the University of Waterloo.
NOTE: Future Ready is an enrichment program and does not provide advanced standing or credit for university courses.
