My name is Arnbjörg Soffía, but (for obvious reasons) I go by Soffia outside my home coutry of Iceland. I'm currently doing my PhD in the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Chris Godsil.

I did my BSc and MSc in math at the University of Iceland. In my Masters I worked under the supervision of Rögnvaldur G. Möller and my thesis was on group actions on infinite graphs (it can be found here). 

When I'm not doing math, I like to spend my time hiking, climbing, singing, gardening, knitting or trying to play the ukulele.
