If I had to give a 5-word description of my research, it would be "Big Data with Large Matrices". Geophysical data typically takes the form of large, multidimensional arrays of data corresponding to various physical quanties. I am currently a graduate student in the Applied Mathematics department, working towards an MSc. under the supervision of Prof. Christopher Fletcher.

My current focus is on using remote sensing data from the MODIS and Sentinel-3 satellites in order to investigate global warming in the Arctic tundra.
