She received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, in 2004. She also received M.S in information, network and computer security from NYIT, USA in 2007. She is currently pursuing the PhD degree in Internet of Things (IoT) Security from University of Waterloo, Canada. She served with the Higher Colleges of Technology, Abu Dhabi, as a lead Engineer, from 2014 to 2015. Her research interests include Internet of Things, mobile cloud computing, security, and embedded systems.
