I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Management Sciences at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Dr. Qi-Ming He and Dr. Fatih Safa Erenay. I am expected to graduate in June 2021 and on the 2020-2021 academic job market.
My research interests lie at the intersection of stochastic modelling and data analytics for health care. The methodological areas in which I have experience are mainly in stochastic modelling, such as queueing theory, matrix-analytic methods, Markov modulated fluid flow processes and Markov decision processes. I have also been working on using data analytics techniques to solve health care problems, such as modelling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis progression by prognostic models.
