Research Interests

My research focuses on the glacial history of the Quaternary period, from large-scale landforms to microscopic structures in glacial sediments. Primarily, this work involves ice sheet reconstruction through a variety of methods to better understand how past glaciations have affected the surface of the Earth and its surficial sediments.

Qualifications

  • Research Assistant focusing on Quaternary based projects at the Geological Survey of Canada (6 months)
  • Experienced mapper, having produced two 1: 100 000 scale surficial geology maps
  • Experienced senior field assistant, organizing and executing multiple field seasons
  • Lead teaching assistant for six different Quaternary focused classes
  • Guest lecturer at Queens University Diamond Exploration Module for methods in Drift Prospecting
