Julia-Rose DiPalo is a Ph.D. student in English Language and Literature at the University of Waterloo. She holds a BA Hons. (English Literature and History) from Trent University and M.A. (English and Film Studies) from Wilfrid Laurier University. Julia-Rose’s research is centred on Canadian Literature, focusing on Italian Canadian women's writing, fiction and non-fiction. Moreover, her research examines the inner workings of the Italian-Canadian diasporic family within literature.
