He was born in Assiut, Egypt in 1990. He has been graduated from The Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt in 2012 and he was the top among his classmates. In 2015, he has been awarded his M. Sc. degree from the same department. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph. D. at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has been awarded the award of FOE University of Waterloo for Fall 2016. His research interests include renewable energy, smart grid protection and control, and cyber physical security in power systems.
