I am an aspiring environmental/climate change professional with a rigorous Environmental Science background. I studied Environmental Science at York University and specialized in the Physical Sciences Stream. I have been lead to the Master of Climate Change at University of Waterloo because of my strong interest in merging valuable scientific and technical knowledge with the human, financial, and energy components of climate change and sustainability.
I have contributed to ground-breaking climate research projects involving the validation of climate model and satellite data through comparison with in-situ climate data. I am looking to depart from such rigorous scientific en devours and focus on the mitigation and/or adaptation sides of climate change.
In addition to a strong scientific backbone, I have had roles in customer relations and leadership. These include a co-op position in residential waste management, in which I assisted with the launch of a new green bin program in Toronto, as well as a tour director position in which I lead educational tours for elementary school students.
