We have recently introduced a new transportation network testbed to the literature based on the highway network of United States. The basis of this dataset are the GIS shapefiles provided by the US Census Bureau - Department of Commerce which include all primary roads that cover the entire country.

The Eastern half of this output and has 2,575 nodes and 6,736 arcs. The raw version of this GIS data is simplified meticulously. The reduced version contains 420 nodes and 1276 arcs. The visual representations of these data sets are below:
