Dr. Pranav Agrawal holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. His Ph.D. was supervised by Prof. Armaghan Salehian, Director of Vibrations and Energy Harvesting Laboratory.

Pranav's research interests lie in the area of structural dynamics. He is working on vibration modeling problems associated with the cable-harnessed systems having aerospace and automotive applications. Using computational tools and experimental techniques, he aims to obtain creative solutions to these problems on distributed parameter systems. He has also worked in the area of nanomechanics and has used molecular modeling techniques to solve problems related to buckling and vibrations of carbon nanotubes and graphene sheets.
