I'm a third-year Ph.D. student in Actuarial Science at University of Waterloo, advised by Professor Johnny Li.
Prior to that, I obtained an MSc in Mathematics and Statistics at University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Professor Howard Bondell. I received my Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
It is my great honor to be selected as one of the five recipients of the James C. Hickman Scholar Doctoral Stipend from the Society of Actuaries (SOA) for the 2022–2024 cycle.
