We are proud to announce that our Research Team (Jinjin Chen, Ching Lan and Yilan Liu) has been selected for the Up Start Program, securing $15,000 in funding to advance a novel probiotic product (AlcoBalance Solution). The project is based on a U.S. Patent 63/731,864, which describes a system to engineer bacteria specifically tailored for use in probiotics aimed at individuals who consume alcohol.
Under this patent-pending technology, Jinjin Chen and Ching Lan (Master's student) will develop a specialized bacterial strain that could potentially help mitigate some of the common adverse effects associated with alcohol consumption. The project’s goal is to deliver a science-backed solution that improves the overall well-being of those who regularly consume alcoholic beverages.
With support from the Up Start Program, the team can accelerate product development, conduct rigorous testing, and move closer to bringing this promising innovation to market. The funding also underscores the growing recognition of cutting-edge probiotic solutions in addressing consumer health needs.
