Yuying is currently a third-year PhD candidate in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo. Her supervisor is Prof. Samuel Wong.
She completed her BSc. degree in Statistics at Sun Yat-sen University, China in 2019 and obtained her Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Victoria, Canada in 2021.
