The Field Education award was established to honour a field instructor or agency for exemplary service and ongoing commitment to social work field education at the School of Social Work, Renison University College. The criteria for selection include:
- Regular commitment to field education with the BSW Program
- Representation regularly at the School's field events
- Consistent positive evaluations by students
- Providing creative enhancement and exceptional field education and support to students
Nominations are sought each year from students and faculty field consultants. The nominations are reviewed by the practicum advisory committee and the faculty committee. The recipient is recognized at the School of Social Work end of year event in June.
