Social Work is Everywhere - Social Work Month 2025

March is Social Work Month, beginning with Social Work Week March 3-7. The theme this year is "Social Work is Everywhere" and we'll be celebrating some of the ways that Social Workers, and Social Work students, make a positive impact in all areas of the community.

This National Social Work Month, we celebrate the significant and diverse roles of social workers, who build meaningful connections and strengthen communities across Canada... The theme 'Social Work is Everywhere' reflects not only the wide-reaching presence of the profession but also the boundless impact social workers have in creating meaningful and sustainable transformations.

Social Work Week, March 3-7

In Ontario, we celebrate Social Work week during the first week of March.

As part of the week's events, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, we will host an Advanced Social Work Field Instructor Training Session.

  • The session will be held online on March 5, and will be recorded and distributed following the event.
