SDC's Waterloop team want to show their valued supporters and sponsors the Goose II Pod in its closest iteration before competing in the world finals at SpaceX Competition 2 in Hawthorne, California.

Join us at the Federation Hall at the University of Waterloo for a celebration of yet another milestone for our team. They will be revealing their new and improved pod that will be competing in California this upcoming summer. They are really looking forward to showing you all of their progress.

Come out and see cool cars, grab a snack, win some swag, and learn more about Electrical Vehicles!

A team of Waterloo Engineering students posted a fourth-place finish – its best in three tries – at a recent contest involving the assembly of a bridge over an imaginary river in a race against the clock.

Thirteen teams from Ontario, Quebec and Upstate New York were represented at the regional American Society of Civil Engineers Student Steel Bridge Competition, which was held in a domed football stadium at Syracuse University.

Mayor Dave Jaworsky joins the University of Waterloo Alternate Fuels Team (UWAFT)

University of Waterloo Alternative Fuels Team (UWAFT) ribbon cutting ceremony officially marked a major milestone for heir car being drive-able. UWAFT invited the Mayor of Waterloo, Dave Jaworsky, as someone who helps to influence environmental issues and other policies in the government towards sustainable transportation.

The Spaceport America Cup brought to you by ESRA and Spaceport America is an intercollegiate engineering competition for rocket teams from all over the country and around the world. Student teams competing in the Spaceport America Cup Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition must design, build, and launch a rocket carrying no less than 8.8 lb. of payload to a target apogee either 10,000 ft. or 30,000 ft. above ground level (AGL).
