Did you know that people with disabilities and Deaf people are at a significant risk of poor health, and face numerous barriers to accessing quality healthcare and health promotion information? There are physical barriers, attitude barriers and barriers in how the health system operates. This is an opportunity to take your healthcare into your own hands!
At this workshop you will learn and talk about:
- Healthy lifestyle choices;
- The challenges and barriers to accessing healthcare; and
- How to address those barriers so you can get the healthcare you deserve!
