About Social Development Lab

The Social Development Lab is directed by Heather Henderson, Ph.D. an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Waterloo.

The overarching goal of the work done in our lab is to learn about how children relate to other children and understand their social world.  We use multiple assessment methods in our studies including direct observations of children’s interactions with adults and peers, parent- and self-report measures, and physiological recordings.
