Emma Green

Emma has completed her doctorate in Developmental Psychology at the University of Waterloo. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Mental Health Studies at the University of Toronto in 2016. She is now an Assistant Professor at Bishops University. Connect with Emma. 

Sebastian Dys

Sebastian Dys

Sebastian completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the lab between 2019 and 2022. He received his B.A. from Western University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Toronto in 2019. Sebastian is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University. Sebastian studies how temperament and parental factors impact children's social development, such as their prosocial and aggressive behaviours.

Kristie Poole

Kristie was previously a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Social Development Lab. She completed her PhD in Developmental Psychology and her MSc in Health Research Methodology, both at McMaster University. Kristie studies children's socio-emotional development, with a particular focus on the origins and outcomes of temperamental shyness. Kristie is currently a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at Brock University.

McLennon Wilson

McLennon completed his BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Memorial University and his doctorate in Developmental Psychology at the University of Waterloo. Since 2022, he has been an Assistant Professor in at Cape Breton University in Sydney, NS. McLennon's research explores the relations between child temperament, attentional and behavioural self-regulation, and social development.

 Mya Dockrill

Mya Dockrill

Mya Dockrill completed her MA in Developmental Psychology in the Social Development Lab at the University of Waterloo in May 2023. Mya completed her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Dalhousie University in 2021 and started the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Dalhousie University in September 2023.

Linda Sosa Hernandez

Linda Sosa Hernandez

Linda completed her M.A. in Developmental Psychology in the Social Development Lab in 2021. She completed her B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph in 2017. Linda’s research focuses on the ways that the family system and peers contribute to children’s socioemotional development. She is passionate about practically integrating research to improve children’s socioemotional skills and relationships. She is currently a research affiliate of the Social Development and a student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph
