UN World Water Day – Water and Jobs

Tuesday, March 22, 2016 11:00 am - 5:30 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Each year, the student-run World Water Day conference highlights a specific aspect of freshwater selected by UN-water. This year, the theme is “Water and Jobs: a celebration of all the professions and livelihoods connected to water". This year’s World Water Day is hosted at the University of Waterloo, and will highlight university water research and raise awareness of local and global water issues. The event includes poster presentations, water sector networking, booths from the local community, government, and businesses, and a buffet lunch.

Registration, schedule details, and other information can be found at the World Water Day 2016 event page.
