What if, instead of using AI to find answers, your students used it to teachJoin us on April 16 for an interactive workshop exploring Chrysalis, a Large Language Model (LLM) developed right here at the University of Waterloo. Unlike traditional AI tutors, Chrysalis "flips the script": it acts as a less-knowledgeable virtual student, requiring the human student to explain concepts clearly to help the AI "learn."

Welcoming EdTech Supervisor to the TII

The Teaching Innovation Incubator is excited to announce that Kenneth Berry will be joining the Incubator Team, serving as the EdTech Sandbox Supervisor. Ken's primary focus in the coming months will be to lead the soft launch of the EdTech Sandbox and begin a roadshow across campus to amplify the technologies the Sandbox has in house.
