Milad Soroush
Milad Soroush is a PhD student in the Department of Management Sciences at University of Waterloo. His focus is primarily on exploring self-control and self-control improvement.

In one line of research he is focusing on self-control improvement especially on designing successful interventions such as game-based trainings that can help users promote their self-regulation ability in life. In another line of research, he is exploring the effect of free-to-play (freemium) business model on players’ experience in casual games, and their decision-making to spend money on in-app-purchases.

Milad is working under supervision of Mark Hancock at the University of Waterloo and Vanessa Bohns at Cornell University.
