UWCISA is proud to announce that Adam Vitalis, UWCISA’s Director of the Internal Audit & GRC area has received IIA Canada Toronto Chapter’s Inaugural Advocacy of the Internal Audit Profession Award.
It was a unanimous decision by IIA Toronto Chapter to award the Inaugural Advocacy of the Internal Audit Profession Award to Adam for his efforts in the promotion and advocacy of the internal audit profession.
His diligence and actions to bring awareness of the internal audit profession to the accounting student body at the University of Waterloo and the creation and inclusion of an internal auditing course into the syllabus for the upcoming academic year merited the award.
Adam was presented with the award acknowledging his efforts at the virtual IIA Canada Toronto Chapter AGM, on May 5th, 2022.
