Research Interests: My undergraduate thesis focuses on investigating the relationship between blood flow restriction (BFR) pressure and actual reductions in femoral artery blood flow during leg press exercise, as well as how these reductions relate to perceived effort and whole-body oxygen consumption. Through this research, I hope to contribute to a better understanding of the physiological responses to BFR exercise and its potential applications in exercise and rehabilitation.
Bio: I am currently in my final year of my BSc in Honours Biology at the University of Waterloo. Outside of the lab, you can find me reading with my friends in our book club, practicing archery, catching the latest films, or travelling and exploring new places!
