Jason Au

Lab Lead

Research: Our lab focuses on discovering how and why vascular disease is accelerated by complex blood flow and abnormal vascular wall properties.

Jeremy Cohen

PhD trainee

Research: I am currently interested in the control of complex blood flow in response to different physiological stressors. This includes both arterial and venous flow in response to aerobic and resistance exercise as well as experimental heating.

Research: In her undergrad she focused on carotid artery longitudinal motion, aiming to understand the pattern and what controls it.

Chloe Athaide

MSc trainee

Research: Chloe’s research interests include carotid artery longitudinal wall motion and arterial wave reflections.

Carol Bryans

Co-op student

Research: Carol’s research is currently focused on vascular sex differences and the influence of lifestyle on arterial health with a focus on carotid artery longitudinal motion (CALM).

Josh Gopaul

Senior Thesis student

Research: Josh’s research interests include the effects exercise on the physiology and health of the cardiovascular system.
