KIN 431 Senior Thesis Student
Research: My undergraduate thesis is investigating whether the degree of blood flow restriction (BFR) is associated with perception of effort during exercise and whole-body oxygen consumption (V̇O₂). I hope to use this research experience to gain a deeper understanding of how physiological and perceptual responses to exercise can inform the development of rehabilitation and exercise protocols, particularly for individuals recovering from injury.
Bio: I am currently in my final year of my BSc in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. My interests outside of the lab include skating at local ice rinks, making fresh juices, and travelling to new countries.
