In light of the developing global COVID-19 situation and recommendation by University of Waterloo administration to suspend all non-vital events with the goal of limiting the spread and risk of the virus within the community, we are postponing VMPT 2020 until further notice. The official University of Waterloo’s COVID-19 status can be found here. As the situation continues to develop, we will be discussing options with the University and CANRIMT administration to either hold the conference at a later date, hold the conference virtually, or cancel the event altogether. We would like to graciously thank everybody who has submitted papers, reviews, or has otherwise contributed to the conference and we will do our best to hold the conference in one way or another. We will be sending more updates in the near future with regards to the conference planning and with regards to refunding conference fees for those who have already registered. For those that have started to review paper submissions, we encourage you to continue the review process as we hope to still hold the conference.
