This course, hosted at the University of Waterloo and co-sponsored by the Canadian Society for Hydrological Sciences and the Canadian Water Resources Association, addresses the development of computational models of watershed hydrology in support of water resources management and scientific investigation.
The week-long course will include practical applications of models to alpine, boreal forest, prairie, and agricultural settings in Canada. Students will also be exposed to a number of useful hydrological modelling software tools, including R, Ostrich, Raven, and CRHM.
Professionals, as well as graduate students from the University of Waterloo and other Canadian universities, are welcome to register.
