symposium
titled: Fracking
in
a
Permafrost
Environment:
Key
Questions.
The
symposium
aims
to
explore
questions
related
to
fracking
for
shale
gas
and
oil
in
a
permafrost
environment
from
a
scientific
and
engineering
standpoint
as
well
as
potential
impacts
on
freshwater
resources.
Keynote
speakers
will
be
Christopher
Burns,
John
Cherry,
and
Anthony
Ingraffea.
