Description:

This workshop is designed to help early-career researchers and students develop practical skills, learn how to expand their professional network, and gain insights from experienced water professionals. You will explore strategies for building a strong research profile, connecting with potential employers, and navigating the professional landscape in water and environmental fields.

Participants will also learn about available EDI-R resources that support inclusive and equitable research practices, helping you integrate these approaches into your work and collaborations. Following the session, students will engage in a strengths survey to identify key professional strengths. Understanding your strengths can help you identify what enables you to perform at your best. Through individual reflection, participants will explore how to harness your strengths to your advantage, both in your career and personal life.
