Description:
In this in-person training session, you will learn how to prepare an oral presentation that effectively describes your research in a short amount of time. This course will give you the tools you need to narrow down the key elements of your research and create a short, engaging message to share with diverse audiences. It will help you prepare and deliver great presentations, whether it’s for a class assignment, at a conference or a workshop.
Lunch will be provided.

Learning objectives:
- Deliver a focused and relevant message that is of interest to your intended audience
- Create a logical structure that helps your audience understand your key messages
- Implement strategies for keeping your audience engaged
- Implement basic principles of visual design to improve your visual aids
Who should take this training: Students, faculty and staff who want to learn how to give engaging presentations with well-designed visuals that resonate with your audience.
