Be part of the change for a secure water future

WaterLeadership is a professional skills development program offered by the Water Institute to support the advancement of emerging global water leaders. Through the program, participants will develop the skills and networks needed to move their research into action to support informed decision-making.

WaterLeadership is designed around three “pillars” of learning:

  1. Knowledge mobilization and strategic planning: Learn how knowledge mobilization strategies and tools can increase the credibility, salience and legitimacy of your work, thereby accelerating the advancement and impact of water research.

  2. Research communication: Develop techniques for powerful communication that connect and resonate with targeted academic and non-academic audiences. Boost your career with these highly transferable skills in clear writing, engaging presentations, and key message development.

  3. Innovation and leadership in the water sector: Apply your technical and personal skills to inspire and facilitate innovation solutions to address complex water challenges.

Upon successful completion of the full program detailed below and corresponding assignments, a Water Institute certificate of completion will be issued.
