Dr. Case, who has long been active in the social movement and activism domain of water politics, was presented with the award by the Council on Social Work Education at the Annual Program Meeting and Awards Reception in Denver, Colorado on October 26th.
His article entitled “Exploring the Ebbs and Flows of Community Engagement: The Pyramid of Engagement and Water Activism in Two Canadian Communities” was recognized as an outstanding scholarly contribution based on various criteria, including contribution to the field, scholarly approach, and promotion of macro practice values.
